...or actually, recently finished The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. I picked it up haphazardly at Wal-Mart the day before leaving on a beach trip for spring break because I wanted an easy, quick read. Well, once I cracked it open, I couldn't tear myself away from it. Fortunately, my husband was driving, and I read it in one sitting on our trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 2 weeks ago. I had seen the movie several years ago, but the book really hooked me in. It was not a difficult read, and the characters and plot are strikingly realistic and moving.
