(Inspiration #6) Incorporating Women's Lit. into the High School English Curriculum

I'm going to be completing an independent study course this summer, for which the goal will be to research best practices for incorporating women's literature into the high school English classroom. Throughout the course of my research for this, I would like to develop an instructional book (or at least a good, solid, research-based article) for educators that outlines the why and how of it all.
